We thought this was an interesting idea. It's not practiced in Canada yet, but it's really starting to catch on in parts of the US. The act of "replating". Say you go out for dinner and ask for a doggie bag, you're supposed to just leave the food for the homeless on top of the nearest garbage can! This is a city full of restaurants and it could work. Critics however, say that leaving food on top of trash cans is a health hazard and will just encourage people to stay on the streets. Join the debate here.
